Canelo has really come into his prime sense the 1st GGG fight. Canelo truly showed just how good he could box with the first GGG fight. But when it looked like he got winded in the middle rounds that made him change his training camp and it truly has moved him into top shape for speed and stamina which was his only problem ever before. His power seems like it has also has increased with his current program even though it's more for speed and stamina.
I see Canelo catching Jacobs and unfortunately for Jacobs he goes down from fighters like Sergio Mora who couldn't knock out a butterfly barely.
So I definitely see Jacobs hitting the mate a few times regardless how good he is boxing.
Jacobs is a great boxer but he is not a Wladimir Klitschko vs Sam Peter where Wlad was knocked down several times but was a good enough boxer to still out point him. And Canelo damn sure isn't a Sam Peter as Canelo won't just hurt you but he can and normally does out box most.
Canelo is now a complete package boxer hitting his prime. For the next 4 years I don't see any real threats for Canelo. I think truly Canelo could finish his career off with no more losses besides his one and only to Floyd.
The only way I see a possibility of Canelo losing in the future is if he goes up to high and weight and the height/reach advantages become to great for him to over come. But you have to truly give Canelo props for fighting all challenges and Challengers. He is not afraid to try or dare to be great unlike the Floyd's and others in boxing who try to wait out there opponent's weakness to show up before fighting.
Canelo is truly a enjoyable fighter to watch at work.

Man, you really downplayed a really good fight. A fight that some had Jacobs winning. To just write off that performance as succeeding to not get KO'd sounds like 'Casual' talk. I get it if you're a fan of GGG but at least act like you watched the fight and appreciate the sport of boxing.

"jacobs KOing Canelo would be huge for the boxing world."....No, it would be huge for Canelo haters and Jacobs fans. That sentence would have been for Mayweather....

Though it has nothing to do with my comment, what about my Whitaker SI pic suggests I'm biased? It's too bad you can't appreciate a good fight. I think you probably didn't watch it.

Yep. Chavez was undoubtedly one of the greatest of all time, but when he finally started to slip, and was regularly fighting high level competition, he benefited from some favorable decisions.
