Jocobs is a good contender obviously, who has been lucky to get a shot for a vacant title vs another good contender and thus win it.

But he is an unproven titlist so far. I think the former WW/LMW has enough to beat him though it will be tough for Canleo with only his 2nd ever MW opponent, all the external advantages belong to the career MW Jacobs.

Golovkin beat him twice. He clearly beat him the first time and again but by a lesser margin in the rematch. His jab was a big part of those fights. There is no doubt in my mind if the punch stats were reversed Canelo still would have won that second fight and you would be spouting how brilliant Canelo was with his jab. So cut the BS and just admit you are a shameless Canelo groupie.

Easy win for Jacobs. Bigger, longer reach, hand speed just as fast as Canelo, agile. Caneli hasn't fought a mover since Lara. GGG was always an easier match up for Canelo because he's there to be hit & slower. GGG was always a tougher match up for Jacobs because of his jab & power. Those are two main things Danny won't have to worry about with Canelo.
