I still think A master stroke by Hearn would be to get Ortiz for June 1st. Yes Ortiz made a fool of himself during negotiations but to come back to the the table and still try and salvage a deal with him in the 11th hour shows real intent. If AJ beats up Ortiz in impressive fashion which he would ,he wins a new set of fans in the USA. Not really impressed with Ruiz and can see that fight ending inside 4 roundsComment

It’s like me, i’d like a higher salary sure, but not just $10k or $20k more than i’m making.
You got Hearn turning down $50mill after Joshua asked for it, then asked to verify it, and it was verified as a real offer, and still turned it down cause they feel the risk of Joshua getting KO’ed for $50mill isn’t worth it. They probably want 5 “easier” fights of making $20 mill each fight before fighting Wilder. In 5 fights Joshua can make $100mill. So why risk one big KO loss for $50mill?
I hate it as a fan but I understand it when I use common sense.
And then Wilder and his team changed their minds and now probably are gonna wait til the fight reaches 9 figures and will just stay with Showtime having “easy” fights there.
It's clear AJ wants and has wanted the fight at least since the beginning of 2018.Comment

Wilder’s fans are essentially in full retreat at this point.
Their position has become indefensible. It’s only the completely brainless left defending him.Comment

The WBC could move things along by mandating Whyte straight after Breazeale (or at least by the end of the year). Wilder won't want to fight Whyte.Comment

Hopefully a rematch with Ortiz afterwards then maybe Joe Joyce are good future fights for deontay.until it's 50/50 people people can get that Joshua fight out there head.not happening buddyComment
