Soooo i love khans boxing, and hate khan. That said i thought he quit but the article raises decent points i havent thought of... if khan was a quitter he definitely wouldnt have made it to the final bell against maidana and he wouldnt have gotten up everytime garcia put him down... however as i was writing this, I realized, khan is tough in heart but not so much mentally. To my knowledge this is his first time ever actually being beaten up AND outboxed. I can see the latter making him quit.

He quit. The only bad part, is he is lying about it. I dont care that he quit, I'm upset that I didn't see him get KO'd because I've been saying for 6 years that hes not really good.
Why would people think he'd give Bud fits for the 1st half of the fight, when he was timed by the 3rd by Danny? I just wanted to see him earn a ww title shot. He should he fighting c-b level guys first but he wouldnt because he'd never make it to a title at welter.
PS. Nelo was only for the payday and dont ever compare him to Morales! How disrespectful.

Of course, Khan loses all the credit he earned for taking such a dangerous fight against arguably the best in the world. But I think it should end there. Let's not forget Khan has shown a tremendous amount of heart whilst in the ring throughout his career so quitting once against Crawford doesn't diminish that fact. Khan had some of the biggest balls in boxing before this fight, they are smaller now but still bigger than any non-pro boxer posting on this website.
Which welter wouldnt take that easy payday? Which fighter has he even had a convo about facing? Brook but hes scared of him as well. I loved his attitude in 2010-11 but that was eons ago.

I got less problem than most mfers with quitting in boxing. Fair play to Khan on quitting even if that wasn't a ball punch.

Khan realized he was getting outboxed and knew he wouldn't be able to use that tired "I was doing well until I got KO'd" mantra him and his delusional fans like to spew. He's a somewhat talented fighter with a poor understanding of his own talent. As long as people like this writer keep making excuses for him he'll continue to get these undeserved opportunities.

I think Khan was banking on a DQ, which apparently didn’t work. But anyway, it’s still a quit trying to do it.
