So then why didn’t he step in and take the fight the first time it was offered or step in now.

Such a shame it’s not gonna be Ortiz on the end of a Joshua beating / payday

Props to Ruiz for not having drugs in his system at short notice

I assume that what Eddie's hoping for with a late notice fight. Joshua winning. Hell I'm assuming that what he's always hoping for.

Whyte knows Joshua would beat him up too, which his why he's fighting Rivas next instead of Joshua and chasing Wilder instead of the bigger pay day that has 3 titles.

AJ wil struggle. He struggles with anyone that moves like a boxer. E.g. takam, parker

This fight could easily go the distance

I respect Whyte for the challenges he's taken on, so cannot figure out the ones that he hasn't. He had the chance to be Joshua's next challenger and turned it down out of greed for even more money, no different to others who have done the same. It's all very well "knowing your value" but when it comes to a title shot challengers need to swallow their pride a bit, make sure they win that belt(s), then they can make all of the payment demands in the world afterwards.

Was Ruiz in training for anyone else? Or is this going to be a very short camp...
