Triangle theories don't work when Jacobs, GGG and Canelo all have such different styles. We know that Canelo has trouble with mobile fighters such as Lara but Jacobs doesn't/can't move like Lara.
I'm seeing a Canelo KO or a clear (earnt) UD.

One thing that impresses me is the matchmaking at GoldenBoy. They timed the GGG fights to perfection, waited for a bit of slippage and saw it with GGG's fights against Brook and Jacobs. At the same time they knew Canelo was not at his peak in 2014/15 - he is now. They will have studied those Pirog tapes over and over. Clever pressure will be key.

Jacobs can win this fight easily if he fights smart and stay on the outside. If he takes anything away from the Canelo vs GGG fights, it should be how effective the jab was against Canelo. If he doubles and triples the jab all night then take a step back and use lateral movement, Canelo will eat that jab and have a hard time catching him. Jacobs has to stay smart and stay disciplined. He must tie Canelo up on the inside and not trade with him. He can’t afford to get macho. Canelo will keep it exciting and competitive because of his pedigree, but if Jacobs stay focused and stick to the fundamentals, he will win this fight without any controversy.
