I feel bad for Gary. He had so much potential. He could have been on the P4P list and worked his way into the HOF, but it looks squandered. It is mostly his own fault though with his inactivity, unless he can show us that inactivity is not of his own doing.

Got a nice house, three cars, a great job and I'll be going to Vegas this Thursday for the weekend to watch the Canelo-Jacobs fight live. Then the following weekend I'm taking a trip to the Caribbean for 8 days....so yes life is good and I have plenty to smile about... 😆😁

The main problem I think people fail to understand with Haymon is his job is basically the complete opposite of a promoters job.

Haymon's job is to find the best deal for his fighter thats closest to or exceeding their worth if possible. Arum's job is to put on fights where he can get the best ROI on what he's paying the fighters & for expenses vs what he can get back.

Thats why these mfers don't do business easily with each other. Cuz Haymon is the best at getting his fighters their value or beyond their value & Arum is the best at getting a sexy ROI on the fights he puts together.

that is indeed the proper role for a "manager". The problem with what Haymon has done (promoting / controlling events and revenue) is that now HE has arrangements with advertisers and tv networks that have wants and needs that might not be in line with his fighters "best interests". This is why the Ali Act stipulates that Managers are prohibited from having a financial interest in the promotional activites of the fighter. They knew it was a clear conflict of interest.......
