True, GGG is out of his prime, but was still good enough to outbox Canelo through 24 rounds. We don't need to see it happen again the fights weren't particularly that good, you see much better in a standard undercard in the UFC.

I have no problem with Jacobs vs Canelo or Andrade vs Charlo. But to act like Canelo beat Golovkin down and he now has to claw his way up from the bottom is pure BS. Think of like this; when Golovkin was the champ and they drew, both fighters and Golovkin's detractors wanted a rematch. Now that Canelo eked out a victory, he and his fans are saying Golovkin has to jump through hoops to get a rematch.

That's funny because Oscar said in the press conference before the fight that Canelo demanded the Lara fight so they had to make it. But suddenly once he arguably gets a gift, Oscar calls all the shots on the fight and can't make a rematch?

I go back & forth between wondering whether Canelo or Amir Khan is the more shameless fighter, because they both just embarrass themselves time and time again.

I want them to fight soon strictly because Golovkin is getting old. I want to see a competitive fight. If both guys were the same age or even close then fighting someone else isn't a problem. If they want to do it later nobody is disadvantaged. Turn it around what if Canelo was the 37 year old fighter and Golovkin was the 28 year old with the controversial victory. Canelo would want that rematch ASAP.

GGG's 37 years old. He's far past his best years and should only be fighting big money fights or stay busy fights at this point in his career. He lost many years to amateurism and bad promoters in Europe.

If he was the highest paid guy in sports and 28, then I'd expect him to act like it and fight the guy who's considered the best in his division and most people think beat him twice.

They're in 2 totally different stages of their careers.
