Let's see who wins this battle, Arum or Hearn! I was hoping it would be Campbell vs. Lopez, but it doesn't seem possible since Lopez is ranked behind Haney! Good llick Devin!

I believe the WBC will release new rankings in May. Teofimo just beat Tatli, so the WBC has a ready excuse if Arum can persuade them to elevate Lopez to #3 above Haney. Hearn's reaction would be priceless!
I prefer Lopez' style to Haney's and I'd rather see Lopez in a unification with Loma. Also, a Haney unification with Loma is a tough fight to make.

I was wondering how they were going to get Abdullaev out of the way. Ramadan to the rescue!

Haney or Campbell getting the belt makes me think of Yafai and how he and his belt are being protected. Hearn was always willing to make Choc vs Yafai given that was the biggest ticket, so maybe Campbell/Haney winner will get in with Loma, but I worry Hearn will do something different that stops any chance of uniification. Hearn was talking up Campbell/Loma when Campbell didn't have a belt - stick that belt in Hearn's hands and it woireues me how he manages it.

Apart from that, Haney is 18 months younger than Teo - Haney must be growing faster than Teo, surely like Teo, Haney must be facing increasing problems making 135 as his body fills out.

Think this is bad move for Haney and for the fans.1st Cambell is a big step up from what he has faced so far a BIG step up.2nd he is young 21-2 he has plenty of time no need to push it SO quick, by end of year he should be ready or very early next.3rd and this REALLY should be 1st is that what happens if he wins???Who is he gonna fight? He is not ready for Loma so he will be fed lesser fighters while he still learns, kinda like Davis in a way.The fans will start to turn on him and you cant blame them I mean does anybody wanna watch him headline a card your paying for(DAZN,ESPN+SHOW)to fight top 15 guys or guys in smaller weight classes at bottom top 10?He should let this go even with titles at 35 maybe getting hard to come by with Loma looking to unify. No way Loma keeps all those titles for long anyways with all the mandatory's and he is talking about going back to 30(he should, don't have the body)also.
