A prime Donaire at 118 would be too much for anyone to handle. To he fair, an old Nonito would give Inoue some trouble and definitely has a good chance to pull off the upset. Besides, when he retires, he will be a first ballot HOF.

If Inoue destroys Donaire within 3 rounds like you said, Id gladly eat a crow and give the monster his credit. But what if Donaire has enough left in the tank to cause the upset, would you do the same?

If that happens whouldnt that say more about Inoue being overrated? This Nonito lost his reflexes and relies on size and power.

He lost to Frampton, was getting hurt and outboxed in the rematch with Vic before a hail Mary left saved him from losing, completely obliterated by Walters, went life and death with Juarez. The way some hype up Inoue as p4p some have him top 3 he would look bad if he doesn't do the job.

Donaire looks great back at bantam and he can get closer to his best there but Inoue is the new world order of fighters and it's likely he won't just beat a twilight Donaire but smash him up.

You have a good point and i respect your take. I guess we’ll find out when Inoue meets the Filipino flash in the finals. Cheers
