Canelo is a great boxer, has a solid chin and most importantly he is a fighter. Canelo hurts people, makes them hesitate, and makes them lose hope. He beats them down physically and mentally, but Canelo does not have paralyzing one punch power.

Oscar is exaggerating once again. He is prone to do that. I wish Oscar would be more like Bob Arum, Eddie Hearn and the other promoters who always tell it like it is and never exaggerate.

I’m taking notes of all the comments about Canelo knocks him out, Canelo KO’s anyone who tries, blah blah blah. Jacobs is resilient but he was knocked out by Sergio Mora for fphucks sake. Now if Jacobs doesn’t get knocked out, don’t forget your KO predictions and all those statements of grandeur about Canelo won’t go unnoticed...

Jacobs has the physical tools but his skill shortcomings are catnip for Canelo. as soon as he pushes with a jab or reaches, He's getting that slip and right hand counter like he got against Pirog...I'm betting Canelo will be bending down a lot in this fight to get him to reach.

All you need to know about him is he’s a pathological liar. This is someone who stated multiple times immediately after Canelo-GGG 1 that GGG won only to go on record again that Canelo beat the ish out of him twice and was 2-0 and against him. Just read my signature and you tell me if he knows anything about boxing...not hard to figure out he changes his story to fit someone else’s narrative. It’s popular to jump on his bandwagon now.

Note where i said that he hasnt stopped anyone hes own size at world level, and how Oscar refers to him as this dangerous one punch hitter who will starch you if you make a mistake. Argue any of my points you like, but actually respond to what i wrote. What world class fighter has been in danger of being knocked out by Canelo.. He doesn't stop smaller men who are durable like Cotto, Mosley, Mayweather, hes never stopped a middleweight, or looked like doing it. Oscar still talks about him knocking out Golovkin, even though 24 rounds and nowhere near it. Good fighter Canelo, respectable power, like Mayweather, make a move and sudden death? Nope.
Is GGG a heavy hitter? ppl thought he is a killer , who did GGG KO`d who was elite ? decisions vs Canelo and Jacobs not even CLOSE to a knock down , sometimes media over react and build up fighters , and I am a GGG fan and I believe he hits HARD , does he have a 1 punch KO power ? Yes ,can he sit on his punches and tee off on Canelo or Jacobs in order to KO them , no , when you fight the elite its hard to get a KO even if you are a heavy hitter, that's how it goes.

I was a big doubter of Canelo before the GGG fights ,mostly as he got schooled vs Floyd , but then after those 2 fights I can safely say that he is a great fighter and a very good boxer , he will win vs Jacobs and hurt him along the way.

The fight as I see it.

Canelo pressures and his upper body movement is similar to Dmitry Pirog. He'll try to back up Danny and catch him on the ropes over the top with a right hand. Derevianchenko put pressure on Danny, pushed him back and he had some success and Canello is better than Derevianchenko

Canelo is 5’8”, he’s not tall and long like Pirog so the question is, will his upper body movement be enough to make Danny miss or will he get caught at the end of a long, fast jab? If Canelo can't close the gap and Danny doesn't gas out Canelo loses a chess match.

For the record, based upon observations, I see Charlo as one of Canelo's easiest opponents. He's there to be hit, his footwork is just ok and he tries to stand and fight....he's tailor made.

Derevianchenko is a lesser version of Canelo, a step shy of the elites .

The killer is Andrade, I've said before and I’ll say it again, Andrade is Canelo's undoing. Demetrius is bigger than Jacobs, he’s 6’1” and moves in and out and uses a very long jab that has allowed him to control the distance in nearly every fight. Demetrius would be up for Canelo and that makes him too dangerous. Think BJS with power, a nightmare I expect Canelo to avoid.

Gennady will always fight very, very close to Canelo in a 50/50 but he doesn’t have anything Canelo needs and it’s not realistic to think he’ll lift a belt from Demetrius Andrade. GGG is always going to be dangerous for Canelo and for that reason there’s not likely going to be third fight.

So Mayweather aint a respectable puncher? Your criteria for Canelo having power is he backed Golovkin up and people cant walk through him. So whos walked through Mayweather? Didnt he back Canelo up at times in that fight? Shane Mosley said their power was similar as it goes. Neither stops anyone, neither gets walked through, both can back up durable fighters. Wheres the problem with what i said?
