What’s the Average American cost for Cable TV with Showtime?

For example DirectTV is how much a month and you only want Showtime and ESPN? Does DirectTV allow you to itemize what you want simply, without the bigger packages?

Let’s say you didn’t have Tv and were just a new gen. streamer for everything, basically not a TV guy, this is what you pay with Showtime streaming

How much does the SHOWTIME streaming service cost?
The SHOWTIME streaming service is available as a monthly subscription or as an annual subscription. If you chose to subscribe on a month-to-month basis, you will be charged $10.99/month when your free trial period ends. If you choose to subscribe on an annual basis, you will be charged $109.90/year when your free trial period ends. Annual subscriptions are only available when you subscribe directly through SHOWTIME.com. The cost of the subscription will be charged to the payment method associated with your SHOWTIME, Amazon, Android, Apple or Roku account, depending on where you started your subscription.

Why would he pay? I think the prices are high. What’s popular about Showtime? Shameless?

Well, with internet, DirecTV, HBO, Showtime, Amazon Prime and Netflix, I was paying about $182 last year.

This year I changed to Xfinity Internet, with Xfinity Stream for TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, DAZN and HULU I'm paying $136. I stopped paying for HBO and Showtime. I found that if I subscribe to Showtime using an incognito browser I can keep signing up for free trials, even using the same credit card. At least its' worked a couple of times.

So for all that you pay $136 a month, unlimited internet correct?

My internet is limited to 1,024 gigs a month for 60 Mbps, but anything I stream using the Xfinity app doesn't count towards my gigs, so I never go over, I use about 600 gigs a month. If I were to go over, I'd be charged $10 per every 50 gigs I'm over. I can get the fully unlimited plan but I don't recall how much that plan is, but I don't really need it.

Ha ha, no. Maybe a little look at Mr 2Jabs post history will give you a better understanding of his agenda. To his credit he is both prolific and dedicated, even quite humourous at times, but if DAZN ain't paying him they should be.

Thanks for the kind words, but you’re wrong. We’re in a streaming age, and the big daddy are Netflix, Amazon and Hulu. I guess even Disney, but Netflix has the best sustainability due to its original content. For example I know many people that are strictly Netflix and nothing else. So they pay $14.99 a month.

I don’t mean to offend, but paying $100 a month for excess filler channels.. in just trying to figure out what is it that people pay for? Showtime can be bought standalone but most pay for the cable packages correct? Especially because internet’s also included?

Ha ha. Wrong about what, exactly? I too think it entirely likely streaming is the future and that people often pay an awful lot more than they need to for a lot of stuff they don't need. Are you telling me that I'm wrong about your relentless promotion of DAZN as a platform?
