Its not even a question of PBC being more well armed at 147. Its a matter of there being 5 mfers standing in the division & its a legit argument Bud & Spence got the worst resumes oddly enough.

I'd RATHER if a whole bunch of fights happened sooner rather than later, but the reality is thats not happening unless the whole structure of boxing is altered & right now Bud vs Spence makes no sense to the parties that be til we fatten up both guys' resumes a lil bit in their next 2 or 3 fights & knock off some of these other guys (Manny, Thurman & Porter).

I wouldn't "rush", but I'd establish a roadmap at least. We've seen that combat sports can survive when champs face each other and there's this fallacy that if two top guys fight each other, there's nothing left. There's always rematches, new talents coming up. Boxing was supposed to die when Mayweather left. Didn't happen.

Without any roadmap or apparent intention to make the fight, it just breeds distrust with the fans.

If I was Haymon my thinking would be stall ...fight porter and winner of Thurman pac maybe a bull$it defense in between and by then he has to move up to 54 and I will effectively kept him away from the most dangerous fighter good for my pocketbook bad for Spence legacy that’s if I was haymon
