Some fighters when they lose the 1st time they don’t look at themselves they look at everybody else for the blame. Also Abel saying canelo won the fight didn’t help either lol.
Probably not wrong about the first part. Success tends to keep things rolling as is.

As to the second part of what you're saying I agree fighters don't often look at themselves as much when failure comes, but the thing is the boxer can't fire himself. And if some people on your team, namely your trainer most times, isn't getting you into the right form, mentally, physically & strategical on fight night then you need to find someone who can get you in the right form.

And on a more personal level with Abel despite me believing him to be a high level & quality trainer, unlike a lot of people it seems, I think one of his shortcomings is making adaptions in the middle of the fight.

This has been a problem with several of his high level guys in big fights. His guy comes in with one plan & it works or it doesn't. And the fight goes how it goes from then on from Abel's fighters side cuz Abel's fighter won't be making any adjustment nearly ever it seems.

Thats a huge hole in Abel's training/corner game or could just say something about the types of fighters he works with idk, but when there is a constant in a situations I tend to blame that constant on the situation arising over & over.

Roach handled Pacquiao leaving him much better, which lead not long after Pacquiao working with him again. Albeit not as it was.

Sanchez not taking the loss very well.. not the best to burn bridges like that. Not good business, not good anything really

I turned it off when he said "we". I didn't realize trainers did the fighting part.

What a load of crap. If he was your son you would not bury the guy over money or wanting a new trainer. You would part amicably.
