What happened to Srisaket Sor Rungvisai sharp Elite Boxing Skills? Did he lose on purpose, did he looks basic just to prove a point?

He’s never had elite technical skills, he throws good combinations and has good timing but the footwork has never been great and he’s never been difficult to hit.

SSR’s best attributes have always been his physical strength, intense work-rate and lethal power. His weakness have always been guys who can box off the back foot and who have good lateral movement. That’s why he struggled in the past against guys like Cuadras.

I do think that something is missing in SSR though, that ruthless aggression seems to have diminished. I actually noticed it in the Iran Diaz fight, I expected SSR to blow through Diaz the same way Navarrette and Oubaali (to a lesser extent) did, but there wasn’t much intensity in Sor Rungvisai’s performance. At first I put it down to him not being motivated against an inferior opponent but the convincing loss to Estrada shows there’s more to it than that.

Maybe that now that’s he’s reached the top and made life changing money the hunger has gone, maybe it’s the problems in his personal life or maybe it’s just a decade long and hard career taking its toll.
Who knows?

He doesnt have exceptional boxing skills. Sor is more about raw punching power and aggression sort of like a young Pacquiao without the speed.

RACISM means looking at the color of the skin. Brook and Joshua are both not white and he sees them as his fellow country man thus he supports without much complaint. Surely he has enough entegrity to look padt their skin color because all he sees are fellow brits instead of black fighters in the fighters.

It's convenient for him to say that. I know DramaShow well. He used to call anyone who was non-white (boxers and posters) "colored." He was banned for racism a couple of times.

He's grumpy a lot of the times, but he isn't the worst racist of blacks on this site. There are some with venom! I still like him sometimes.

I don't like the fact that he jumps in head first and defends all white boxers, unless he really despises them, too, which is rare.
