Obviously they need Ortiz. If I was Ortiz manager I wouldn’t take nothing less than the 6.5M they were offering for Miller that’s just my opinion. Miller highest purse is only 500k like Ortiz so that rebuttal is irrelevant. Even though I think it’s ****** to replace a cheater with another cheater.

It's already been explained a thousands times and only Wilder fanboys still don't seem to get it.
Miller is young, undefeated, American, a good trash talker, has fought better opposition than Ortiz in recent years and has been headlining shows.
Miller's last 5 wins - Gerald Washington, Mariusz Wach, Johann Duhaupas, Tomasz Adamek, Bogdan Dinu
Ortiz's last 5 wins - David Allen, Daniel Martz, Răzvan Cojanu, Travis Kauffman, Christian Hammer
Ortiz lost to Wilder, has been fighting bums on undercards since then and has done nothing to deserve a title shot.Comment

,All they have to do is show a contractEddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, has come out swinging in the direction of contender Luis Ortiz and his handlers. Ortiz was under serious consideration to face Joshua on June 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

I guess it boils down to people think Ortiz is better than Miller. I like the fight because we get some sort of comparison/contrast with the Wilder fight. Who did better, etc etc which hopefully stimulates more interest from casual fans. It's already been explained a thousands times and only Wilder fanboys still don't seem to get it.

I didn't mind the Miller fight considering Brizzy is fighting Wilder. Just kind of accepted it as sort of record padding as we wait for the meaningful ones.
Miller truly made this a difficult situation for everyone including potential replacements.Comment
