Eddie Hearn “AJ announcement Sunday , still time if Ortiz wants to accept the offer”
Collapse

If you read the quote by his promoter, that Jorge guy, in that one BS article you'd know the odds are maybe +530 or a 15%-ish chance of it happening. Ortiz can want anything, but the promoter has to sign off on it.
Hopefully that greedy f#cking promoter is happy with 28% of the money which is what $2M of the potentially $7M offer is.Comment

Ortiz team clearly stated what Eddie Vernally offered and what he wrote in the contract were 2 different things.
Eddie is a slim all.Comment

What are you talking about? His own manager said it’s his own promoter stopping the fight being signed because he wants more than the 30% (on top of $5mil Ortiz would get)Comment

Interesting if true and I'm hoping it is
I can't find any videos of Eddie saying as such just yet, only a clickbait type video on behind the gloves where he says "ruiz" and MJP hears Ortiz :-/
If anyone can find any more videos or info would be great
fingers crossed for this oneComment

The promoter isn't happy with his $2M is the #1 problem.
Sounds like Ortiz WAS happy with $5M after all.
Kinda sounds like that Jay guy was playing both sides (promoter & Ortiz).
Or maybe Ortiz WAS told "oh yea we can get more outta Hearn" to get the promoter & Ortiz a lil more & it backfired & now Ortiz is like f#ck your guys' plan get me that $5M.
Either way at this point it sounds like a question of if the promoter will sign off on it, cuz it sounds like Eddie would prefer that fight, Ortiz wants it, the manager seems to want it now. Only question is where the promoter is at with the ~$7M offer & his $2M cut of it with his wannabe Don King ass.Comment
