You forgot the roughly half of the PPV money that went to the distributors and ESPN (wouldn't shock me if ESPN negotiated a bigger piece of the PPV for themselves either).

And that's before you recall that Lance Pugmire has already gone public with his way early thought that sources have the fight tracking towards 150k PPV buys.

Mikey didn't quit though, and he didn't let his father or brother quit on his behalf either. Different circumstances.

Didn't see the fight, still haven't seen the fight and don't plan on seeing the fight, but Amir Khan did have the avenue to take the full 5 minutes on the foul. He didn't, dipping out on basically the first chance he got.

That's a lot of money to make up, especially if the fight didn't sell well the way having zero information out about the gate or attendance would seem to suggest.

In the last 3 years, what has Amir Khan done for you to still see him to be a PPV draw at 3am in the UK? lol.

He went on a reality show, his marriage was a soap opera and he was always in the papers. Despite his flaws Amir Khan is a big name in the UK. No fighter has a bigger profile apart from maybe Joshua. People might hate him and want to see him lose but they will still watch him. Crawford is also known on this side of the pond, he fought in Glasgow and is generally respected. This fight definitely did well on PPV which is why BT had it on PPV.

Khan had his two prior UK fights on regular Sky Sports, and didn't hear anything about those fights drawing massive interest to see this supposed star. Just saying

Khan quit, he had up to 5 minutes to rest from being punched on the thigh.

He quit immediately. If he had any desire to continue fighting, he would have waited the 5 minutes to recover.

It doesnt need to go to the cards. You can recover from a low blow. You cant uncut a cut.
