He is the A side and DAZN is the money side. DAZN's budget is 200+ million. ESPN's is 100million.
If they are willing to buy the fight and pay Ramirez a lot of money then he should do it for a one fight deal. My guess is they would offer something similar to what ESPN would for this fight.
Yeah Right! They gave Prograis the run around before he joined the WBSS Tournament instead of playing their games and them wanting to stall that fight for Arum and his "Marination Process"
This is what I & others keep saying about TR. They wanna be the A Side Promoter basically by putting fights on on their platform they are affiliated with ALL the time with their meaningful fighters. Its a very seldom occurrence when TR lets a TR branded fighter fight elsewhere.
This is why so few big fights between outside promoters (or PBC) & TR happen.
Too many mfers thinking everyone is against TR all the time, but the facts & logic say TR is trying to collect max revenue off of their contracted fighters & build their promotional brand off of their notable fighters by not letting them cross the street anyway.
Plus its likely a case of controlling the narrative of TR fighters cuz thats something TR is great at & does to their max ability with most of their notable guys. Hell when they got beef with a TR fighter they even go hard on controlling the narrative of that to protect the TR brand over the fighters brand.
Basically no surprise & plenty of us see a lot of your strategy TR so yea this is what it is. I'm sure Eddie, Oscar & PBC all know what to expect when talking deals with Arum at this point.
