I get it. You want to make the fight. It could possibly be the build up to the Loma fight. Bottom line, GRJ fignts bums. Low risk fights. Even Loma was low risk because he already lost and had no pro experience. Nevertheless wasn't that the first time GRJ fought for a title? Oh yeah he lost that. Then beat some journeyman who already had like 8 losses. Nah we get it. It's a good fight to make. But your level of opposition and activity is piss poor my guy.

Quite a bit of fighters. Some who have haters who claim they afraid to take a fight. Yet after they win that fight , whine about something else.

I see this as a mismatch contest. Their weights are also diverting. I wouldn't want that beating on Russell. Fight Santa Cruz, make one nice last payday, and call it a career.
Missed my point Russel should not be giving advice on how to run anyone's career. He should just go away because he is not fighting Leo and at end of day his best win will be a past it J Gonz. His fight for the year has already been announced and its another top 20 guy.Im not sticking up for Davis but at least he still has time and fights more often.S hit Joe Louis fights more often and he is dead.

The bold: I agree. He's hardly relevant.

Tank is a business First boxer 2nd

It's all about the carefully orchestrated mirage with Davis. The ego of being called Champ and the stranglehold on that one belt he won from a Pedraza who killed himself coming down in weight on short notice. Those ringside even before the fight noted Pedraza looked dead on his feet. And the broadcasters during the fight were aghast that Pedraza abandoned his usual strategy and just stood in there to box it out with Davis. Trying to prove Tank was nothing. It still took Tank 7 rounds with that gift to capitalize. And Tank hangs onto that win like it's lost treasure. He is a happenstance belt holder who his team is protecting. Look at his opponents. O and 4, first opponent. 0 and 0 next or third opponent. Flawless record and the happenstance belt and avoiding other champions is a mirage. He is not a true champion that people ...fans...can get behind, unless they fall for that ****. Gary nailed it on the head. I'd love to see that fight. Gary gave Loma a great fight at 126. Not sure if he can bite off 130 but Tank is a make believe champ who needs to prove it against other top fighters.
