Dillian Whyte expects a very tough fight when he faces unbeaten Canadian puncher Oscar Rivas at the O2 Arena on July 20. British heavyweight Whyte is ranked number one by the WBC but missed out on a shot at champion Deontay Wilder, when the sanctioning body ordered Wilder to defend his title against Dominic Breazeale instead.

Need to check this Rivas guy out. Hope it's a good fight. Would have preferred to watch Ortiz or Povetkin vs Whyte but maybe Rivas will bring it.

Very underrated HW fighting out of Canada. Took Jennings to deep waters and KO’d him his last fight. And he’s a MAJOR body puncher. Didn’t show it much against Jennings though because of his freak reach (same reach as Fury but 6’1 so his entire body is defended)

I wouldn't bet against that opinion, Whyte has terrible conditioning and has faded in all his fights that go more than a few rounds. He looks like he's running on fumes by the 6th.

So yeah Whyte by early KO, or Rivas down the stretch by TKO seems like a legit prediction.

Any average boxer with a punch has a decent chance to beat whyte.
Whyte seems to struggle in almost every fight and this will be no different.

And Rivas is a killer on the body, which won’t help Whyte at all. Chisora was hitting him with body combos that Rivas will destroy him with. Whyte will be sucking air by round 5
