GGG signed a 6 fight deal for 100 mill.Sanchez has always charged 10% which is 10 mill. GGG offered a flat rate of only 2 mill !GGG is very bitter since they took his belts and undefeated record. He was always nice to fans but at the Lomachenko vs Crolla fight he refused all autograph requests and accused everyone of selling them and making money off him.I have paid to see him fight 4 easy fights in L.A.and each time spent a lot on merch! He has made money off me. Abel is right he is greedy
How much is Golovkin dazn deal? Abel isn’t wrong here

Ok thanks. So he would be getting a pay decrease why Golovkin makes more money lol.the source is mike coppinger, who spoke to abel sanchez. abel sanchez claimed that golovkin signed a 100 mio deal.
It is not really clear, if sanchez meant 1/5 from his usual percentage or 1/5 from his previous purse.
So either he received something like 10% in previous fights and now gets 2% or he earned something like 500k before and now is only offered 100k.
Spoke to Abel Sanchez regarding his split from GGG. Sanchez said Golovkin offered him “one fifth” what he was being paid for, and this comes after Golovkin signed a lucrative contract with DAZN. As always, there’s no loyalty in boxing. Quotes below pic.twitter.com/adXJot7M0N

What I said stands. Gg is making like 17 mil a fight. Why would Abel be cool with getting a pay cut when gg triples his purse?Comment

If Abel got 10% (500k) for the canelo fight. Why would he be ok with getting less than that once Golovkin makes even more money.Comment
-
it's not really fair, but it could also be the case that it's golovkins subtle way of saying that Sanchez can f.uck off and is no longer needed, which actually is also pathetic lol.Comment

How do you know it is a decrease in term of actual dollar amount? A smaller percentage of a bigger amount is not necessarily a decrease of the money Abel would actually receive.
Also, why are people just taking Abel’s word without even knowing GGG’s side of the story here?Comment

I'm going to assume it is from 10% to 2%. That is normal once a fighters gets big. The percentage decreases but the amount stays the same cause the purse is bigger.the source is mike coppinger, who spoke to abel sanchez. abel sanchez claimed that golovkin signed a 100 mio deal.

I dont see any logic in offering 100K when they were paying Abel 500K before. Because if that is the cause, it'll be honorable to just cut ties without any offer.Comment

Because Abel said he was offered a 5th. So either he went from 10% down to 2%. Or he went from 500k for the canelo fight to 100k for his next fightHow do you know it is a decrease in term of actual dollar amount? Gg is getting 17 mil a fight. 2% of that is less than 10% of 5 mil. Either way he’s getting lessComment

It's between GGG & Abel really, their finances but I thought this was interesting.
Most top boxers y’all have watched over the years, especially the ppv fighters have not paid a trainer 10 percent. I know this as a fact because I was in camp with a lot of HOF’ers, they told me themselves at a certain point it was a flat fee, no more 10 percent. #****outtahere

Don’t get it twisted GGG was a top fighter in the amateurs. He came the pros as a top fighter. He put that man on, 7 figures was enough, the man wanted 8 figures, gtfoh.
