You are a complete idiot you get a green foot from me ... right up your ass. -
If anything it looks like Spence and Al Haymond are the one who dont want this fight. They feel like they can make safe money matching Spence with their popular B+ class fighters, like Porter and Thurman. Or maybe another blown up lightweight?Comment

It’s kind of TC fault. If he wanted the fight that bad he would of signed a 1 fight deal with Haymon or started his own promotions. Him re-signing with Arum is could be called a duck.Comment

I don't think he's as concerned about them winning as getting paid correctly for the loss of value if they lose or just the risk of losing.
Honestly I sh^t on Arum a lot, but I see the business logic in that (& most of his decisions) despite it not enduring me to his strategy as a boxing fan & being a more pro-boxer/anti-promoter type fan than a pro-promoter/anti-boxer type fan which it seems like a lot of people steer towards being by putting most of the blame on fighters for business sh^t over the guys hired to make the business decisions getting the blame for business sh^t as I feel like makes more sense.
I'd like for promoters to just make the best fights TODAY. Whatever those fights maybe. And thats why I'd ultimately prefer to see boxing as a no long term contract sport or some more middle ground-ish area being settled on that put things in flux more. How the sport is structured now doing that would be completely illogical & minimizing your profits so its no surprise no one is doing it on any sort of regular basis. If you wanna see the best possible fights in the present you need boxers who aren't as locked into deal with promoters so there is more competition among promoters to put on good fights in the present vs always steering towards some grand plan of the "next great PPV fight" that seems to be ever promoters motif.Comment

Arum wants the fight at 50/50 which is reasonable. Ellerbe who isn’t even Spence's manager is saying it won’t happen. Haymon says nothing as usual and Spence is talking Manny and Porter, not Crawford.Comment
