Roach is right fighters lose and they blame the trainer instead of looking in the mirror. Sanchez told GGG in the first fight go to the body over and over GGG but refused. Then him and GGG made up bs stories about well if Canelo would of fought me Mexican Style and not moved so much I would of looked better. With the entire world criticizing him for no body work said in the rematch he would go to the body. Not only did he not go to the body more he threw fewer body shots in the rematch and got his face broken and totally punked out a mexican style fight. And you can't blame the trainer because Sanchez told him over and over please GGG stop backing up. He repeated it over and over while GGG just shook his head yup I will then kept doing the same dumb shyt.

2 biggest fights of his career...NO Mexican Style and he threw a total of 14 body shots. That's not on Sanchez that's on GGG

For whatever reason i dont remember seeing the body stats. But thats very eye opening and i can only assume he didnt go to the body because he couldnt defend canelos catch and shoot... i know its kind of “rare” in boxing but does anyone remember a fight where 3G doubled up on his hooks to either head and body or just doubling the hook on the same side period? I’d think if 3G could, that might have slowed canelos return fire... oh well im re-watching the rematch 2night

blah blah blah. floyd actually said he took unnecessary damage against cotto and that's why he wants to go back to his father to be more defensive.

Mayweather Jr. explained Tuesday that due to what he considered excessive punishment received in his most recent bout – a May 2012 unanimous-decision victory over Miguel Cotto – he wanted to reunite with the man who taught him to box in the first place.

This. Roger has full on dementia and was leaving the house wandering the streets, getting lost and they had to go out and find him and chit. Roger will never be the same and cant work as a trainer anymore. Floyd said it in an interview once but doesnt talk about it regularly.

Yup 2 fights in a row 24 rounds it's very obvious now that he refused to go to the body because he was worried about Canelo's counterpunching that is why he went jab crazy and didn't risk throwing body shots hell the second fight he literally backed up running away from a Mexican Style fight that he cried and begged for. If he goes to the body especially the rematch he was going to get body bagged. Canelo broke his face and had him all phuked up looking and that is with him back peddling jabbing. If he goes to the body he takes major risk maybe he shows down and stops canelo or maybe he goes out on his back tbut he didn't want to find out so stayed away from that punch. even after the world criticsed him the first fight and even after Sanchez said the game plan they created was to go to the body. But after getting lit up early he abandoned it. 2 biggest fights of his life and he landed a grand total of 14 body shots combined and he was considered the best body puncher in all of boxing before Canelo, Mr Mexican Style for his aggressive pressure and body work.
