    Questions on white collar

So after finally finding a seemingly reliable white collar boxing organization, I signed up. I now have some questions..

Am I expected to bring my own gloves with me?

What should I bring on my first day?

How do weight classes and cutting work? I weighed myself this morning and I'm 206 lbs. I'm wanting to fight at cruserweight over heavyweight, would I need to be dead on 200 lbs for them to put me in it? Or would they be like okay we'll help you cut those extra 6 lbs on fight week? I don't want to be chucked into heavyweight because I'm a few lbs over CW.

What can I do to get my fitness up and do for myself? As of today I'm going to constantly practice on my shadow boxing for accuracy, faster punches and to get my stamina up so I'm not breathless on fight night. I already run almost every day for fiveish miles, I try to do 200+ push ups and sit ups a day and I go fitness swimming every 3-4 days where I aim to do 100+ lengths. Do I seem reasonably fit enough to not be seen as a joke? What else can I do to make sure I get that win?

Any advice I would really appreciate, I'm obviously a beginner but I want to give myself the best chance to put on a dominant performance and get that win.

    Thanks

Mate you haven’t give us enough info , what body fat percentage you are carrying for a start

You could be 200lbs carrying 40 lbs of fat before you even think of cutting water and glycogen from your muscles etc
My guess is with few months training and diet you could even be a welter weight three months from now or light middleweight

All good questions... that should be directed towards whoever is running the show

FWIW, according to what I know of UK white-collar camps, they will probably provide gloves to train in, but you should get your own anyway (a decent beginner brand is Rival). First day, you should have workout clothes, water, gumshield, towel, wraps, and rope, ideally. But a lot of camps will sell a pack: wraps, shield and rope. As for matching up, don't worry so much man, just get yourself in shape and let whoever's running the show sort that out, it's not in their interests to mismatch (well, as long as they are a "reliable" organisation, as you say). Don't worry so much, just turn up on the first day and ask the person who's running it for advice on all these things, or if you are really concerned ring ahead

Fitness-wise, you should be working out in rounds. I'm guessing it will be 2-minute rounds for you. So, everything you do: 2-mins work like hell, 1-min rest, 2-mins work like hell, 1-min rest, etc..
