Comments Thread For: Hearn: Andy Ruiz, Michael Hunter Are Credible Fights For Joshua

There are two frontrunners being kicked around as the top possibilities to face WBO, IBO, WBA, IBO heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua on June 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Once-beaten contenders Andy Ruiz and Michael Hunters are both at the top of the list to challenge the unbeaten champion in his United States debut, which is being carried by DAZN and Sky Sports Box Office.

I don't understand why all the fuss about fighting here... I'd rather watch AJ vs Whyte on t.v in the UK! Wtf is all this fuss about fighting here.. Obviously the fighters over here are pissing me off.. so change the date and location.. THE END!

Ortiz would be such an easy fight it’s unreal. Is he a better fighter than Miller? Of course he is but styles makes fights and Ortiz is old. I see him getting knocked out to a vicious uppercut if he dares to face AJ. I want him to get the fight because if he wins he will be the oldest heavyweight at 58 years to be unified Champion

Anthony Joshua is fighting in America?! GOOD LORD! These poor results from Edward and Matchroom are most distressful.

The yanks have been laughing at UK's recent failure of capturing the most prestgious title in all sports ( WBC HW Title ) on account of that no-good hunchback gypsy Tyson Fury. Spare the British any further shame Edward, load that broken rusty robot of yours along with whatever rubbish Matchroom had planned to sell the yanks on the first boat back to England -- hopefully the ship sinks in the Atlantic.

Andy Ruiz foot the bills, throw him in there. He will last a couple of rounds and make a good fight. He has fast hands and good balance.
