I suspect it's because he knows he can't get back to being as good as he once was. Either way whatever he chooses to do I wish him all the best.

Wonder if they were planning on feeding him strait to Broner to get the hype train going again.

his biggest mistake was retiring when he did. he could've had 2-3 paydays more and then retire. too old and out of shape now.

Smart decision. If the desire isn't there then he shouldn't come back.

Probably didn't feel the desire he had before.

Hopefully he saved the money he made from the 2 Mayweather fights. He probably should have still stuck around for another few years when he was still in top shape. But it’s probably for the best at this point since it’s been 5 years since he’s fought.

He looked like utter crap in the videos that were being posted. Dude was just gone for too long and let himself go and gained damn near 100 pounds since his retirement.

Glad he realized this is a bad idea and got out before he could have potentially gotten hurt.

Training for a fight is rough. He probably wasn't up to the demands needed for the sport. Also he probably wanted to fight but his body wouldn't respond like it use to. There's nothing wrong with what he did, he gave it a shot and knew it wouldn't work. It's probably for the best I wish him well.
