Comments Thread For: Shawn Porter Praises Garcia, Motivated To Face Errol Spence

Shawn Porter was in attendance Saturday night in Carson, Calif. when Danny Garcia stopped Adrian Granados in 7 one-side rounds in a Premier Boxing Champions main event on Fox. The WBC welterweight champion was very familiar with both men having won a close decision over Garcia last September and having defeated Granados by unanimous decision in 2017.

He didn’t have no choice but to praise Swift...He was hoping AG pulled off the upset though...Yeah we read between the lines during that FOX interview they had with Swift and AG a week before the fight...Porter and Mares was co hosting and Porter was lowkey throwing shade at Swift...anyway Spence gonna beat that boy up bad!

This is a great welterweight unification of two fighters in their primes. Crawford and Spence need to beat some top WW before they fight.

Porter is a bit passed his prime coming off that loss to Ugas.

Ugas did great unfortunately the judges didn’t see it that way. He’ll get another shot to prove his self. Probably against Danny Garcia in another great welterweight fight.

Them tough fights by Porter are eating away his prime, he has to fight Spence now as there’s no telling if he can beat current Danny Garcia who’s throwing more punches and has settled at the 147 weight now!

              Porter will
Make it a tough fight like he always does! Gonna. Be interesting to see how Spence handles the Ohio Tasmanian Devil!

Same reason he fought Granados. Because Haymon says so. Everyone else besides Crawford is tied up. Ugas-Garcia is a great fight. Would be nice if they put it on the undercard of Spence-Porter.

If porter can get back on form, like he was vs brook and thurman, he beats spence. If he tries to box, he gets picked at range.
