King Kong needs to take it, he would get stopped worse against Wilder in a rematch!
He would have the advantage in a sense that AJ has been specifically training for a husky hulk orthodox fighter!
Go for It and if he beats AJ then he’s a Cuban legend and but if he loses then he and his family could
Be set if he invests right

In addition, it's been more than seven weeks since his has last fight. So, if anything he's probably cycled off and clean by now. So he can sign the fight with AJ if he wants to. What it sounds likes to me is that he has been coaxed or instructed not to.

Maybe Ortiz wants a full training camp so he actually has a chance to win?
Hand over the money bag or forget it. Ortiz gets a full training camp vs. Wilder!
To turn down $5M at that age is pure stupidity.

Whats this HEARN SETS MARKET PRICE nonsense? So does this mean every boxer in the division now by rights get 6.5 million everytime they fight until somebody is paid more? Is this a new rule or have you made it up Curt?
Surely DAZN was offering Wilder $40m for the Joshua fight. Thats the market Price. I think Dave Allen and Lucas Browne need to be knocking on some doors they have been ripped off.

Kind of in a tough spot. Short notice for a fight, but at the same time, 5 mil is a good offer.
I really don’t know what I would’ve done. You’re not given a lot of time to prepare and you’re probably gonna lose the fight, but, 5 mil

Anyone defending Ortiz is a troll, no one with genuine working brain cells would defend this blatant duck.
He has a single decent win over Jennings for god sake, he's the boogeyman of Wilder fans imaginations and nothing more.
He looked PATHETIC versus Hammer and hardly landed anything flush or concussive, feather fisted Fury made Hammer quit in the 8th!!
$5 mill for Ortiz is being over payed by 3X and that's being generous due to the "magnitude of the fight"
Fighters are ALL pricing themselves out of this title shot, so why????
Ortiz is either on a cycle, scared or stupid to believe the BS he's being fed about his "Wilder fight in his pocket" and its value.

There are many guys that were stopped by Wilder. They have good resume because of that?
exciting fight that took place leading-up to the stoppage.
Ortiz fought well in a losing effort to a man regarded among
the top two heavyweights in the world. Ortiz reputation did
not suffer the way some are suggesting. He is still regarded
among the top contenders, and is much more well-known
than Miller.
