I guess because he just fought and is coming off a big KO win..

Idk, he seems really undersized. And from what I've seen he's pretty hittable. I think I'd prefer Hunter who atleast looks more the part.

Hoping Big Andy gets the nod. He should have faced AJ last year with his WBO belt.

Feel bad though, guy takes a lay-off and now feels he has to argue with boxing “fans” that he deserves the fight.

              Boxing isn’t a modeling contest.

And AJ has struggled with Povetkin and Takam, so it might be safe to say he struggles against shorter heavyweights. Not to mention he’s never dealt with someone who has Andy’s hand speed

Hunter is under-rated as he's still new to the weight, but he'll be trouble for any HW; he's already stopped one of Joshua's best sparring partners. I still think he'd need to beat another genuine contender before he truly deserves a title shot though. Ruiz would be a decent shout but ideally he would have fought another top contender more recently and not had a lay-off. Bryan is highly ranked with WBA, but not many outside of his small fanbase have even heard of him. Kownacki would have put up a good fight but his team don't think hes ready to step in with half a camp left. Ortiz would have been the best option but it looks like he's priced himself out.

I reckon your probably right about the height thing. Out of the big 3, I'm more of a Joshua fan than of the others, but even I can see that he finds it harder to punch downwards when the shorter fighter is a decent boxer - which Ruiz and Hunter both are. He'd beat them both and probably by KO, but it wouldn't be quick or easy.

All three have their weaknesses. I believe Fury and Joshua’s to be smaller heavyweights.

Hell, look who gave Fury his hardest fight.
