Whyte is a domestic level fighter, who is largely unknown outside of Uk, for obvious reasons. The people that do know him, knows he's an awful boxer and have no desire to see him fight AJ.

Whatever Ortiz was offered it is more than he will get for his next fight and probably the one after that and of course he will be a year or so older . Something is only worth what you can get for it , no more and no less .. when are these fighters going to detach their selves from this social media over inflated value they get from keyboard warriors that fuel their egos with telling them what they want to hear and no idea about the fight game and it's realities.. come to think of it life's realities.. the only factor arguing against this would be if there was a real risk he could be seriously injured. But whilst this is always a possibility it seems unlikely. He is skillful, experienced, in training and has enough time to be well if not perfectly prepared and hopefully his corner will look after him.
