GGG not Ruling LHW division!! If the fight is right, he’s game!

“But but.. Golovkin is not a big Middleweight...it doesn’t matter if GGG looked bigger than Canelo in the ring because Ward was scared... Canelo is a Cruiserweight and BJS and Jacobs are Welterweights.”

And then came the face offs and in ring body comparisons years later..

Im a GGG fan but he hasnt left 160 in the last 10 years. Maybe in 2013 he woulda caused problems but in 2019 I doubt he can do damage at 175

GGG didn't really look bigger than Canelo especially in the first fight. Taller yes but the fully "Mexican meat" version of Canelo was more powerfully built. Ward wasn't scared he was just calling for a fight he knew couldn't be made in order to use GGG's burdgeoning popularity to remind boxing fans he still existed after long stretches of inactivity. He would have taken the fight with GGG if he was offered it and I think he would have won but hadn't even fought in the division above GGG since 2013. People then say "well he could have made 168" but he never actually did. It isn't as if there weren't quality super middleweights available to fight in the meantime (Badou Jack, James DeGeale, the Dirrell Brothers etc.) but he decided against it. So all we have is Ward pissing in the wind.

I'd like to see him fight Gilberto Ramirez or Callum Smith at 168 before he tries his hand at 175. Or if Bivol is as interested in going to 168 as he says maybe they can meet each other there.

Don’t be dishonest! Canelo looked like a welterweight next to ggg the so called small middleweight! Many welterweights have said that Canelo is small. So what does that say?

Fights with Zurdo and Kovalev would be good for GGG. Also the 3rd fight with Canelo. Those are fights that could make him money and none of these guys are movers.

Canelo is the younger of the two. At the weigh ins the water weight is able to bulge all general muscle mass, but on fight night their overall tone becomes soft again because the empty gaps have been replenished with water.

Walk around weight Golovkin is a huge Middleweight. Most elite fighters aren’t fighting 4 times a year. The reality is that if they were, they’d all be more toned because that’s what strenuous camps all year long do to you...

What the fuc are you talking about? He said he is not thinking about light heavyweight so quit putting words in his mouth that he never said. He is an average sized middleweight who weighs about 170 on fight night the same as Canelo and you don't grow bigger at age 37. He fights Canelo next most likely at 160. He was, is, and always will be a natural middleweight. He might take a good fight at 168 but never at 175 because he is too small for that weight and he knows that.
