I'll take it... the sooner the better. And I would rate it a close, solid fight... especially if we see the same Kovalev who just beat Alvarez. Beterbiev hasn't fought the competition Kovalev has fought, and he has way less pro fights. Sergey will just need to keep the same defense he used vs Alvarez, since Artur has some serious power. This would be Artur's biggest test so far.... whereas it would not be Sergey's toughest. Bring it on.

I think Kovalev realises every contender views him as the weakest link in the four belt chain, as they have all been calling him out.
Yarde is a big step up but maybe, just maybe with recent disappointments and mismatches - the 175 pound division is about to deliver on all that talent it has.

Ward is obviously much more skilled, technical, and better overall than artur but artur will be without a doubt the most DANGEROUS opponent kovalev has ever faced. A serious high risk fight for sergey.

... since 2914, Kovalev was the only one who wanted to fight Beterbiev...

Kovalev is one of the only fighters in the game who wants to fight everyone! Wants to fight the best!

If Yarde takes his title away he will keep it hostage fighting bums in Brittain for years. So please Kovalev KO Yarde.

              .
which is good for us because we need those fights and not good for them because Kovalev is not the weakest link. I just can't see Gvozdyk and Beterbiev beating him. Bivol is kinda 50-50 but I'd still favor Krusher if he prepares properly

At least he realizes that he needs to beat the best in the division and has called them out. That's all that you can ask of a fighter who's winning.

If this fight is ever to get made it needs to be sooner rather than later, neither is a spring chicken and Kovalev has already had to adjust his style due to age related decline.

Let's hope Kovalev isn't just name dropping now like Luis Ortiz does when they already signed for other fights. Hopefully Kov beats Yarde then they get it on. I have a feeling that Beterbiev will end his career as this ain't no Ward or Alvarez. Beterbiev is a monster.

They got history, it would be a shame if they did not meet in the pros, time is ticking tho
