Probably not far off with this remark. I've heard people suggest TR contracts have the vaguest details possible written by pro contract creating lawyers in the language of lawyer that fighters aren't apt to understand or there brother in law "adviser" would either.

I do think the MAA has some boundaries on how long a promotional deal can be for initially, but I think there are extensions for certain things that give them more leeway like if the promoter gets you ranked by an ABC belt, you win a belt or unify & sh^t like that.

I think thats where the TR vs Mikey situation went sideways cuz TR said x happened so his contract got extended by y time & Mikey was saying x didn't happen or that x happened sooner than TR was saying it did to end his deal sooner or not extend it in the first place.

I'm sure there are outs, but I bet they are sketchily defined & hard to qualify for. But maybe not.

I do think Bud is a pretty no bs guy & wouldn't hesitate coming into the TR office like Ice Cube in the NWA movie when he got f#cked over & make it known he wasn't happy if he wasn't happy although in a more subtle & reasonable way lol.

I think Bud's no bs attitude probably helped him get Arum to overpay Khan & ditch that silly ass Collazo fight. I got mucho respecto for Bud over that one cuz I think too many mfers in boxing now don't try to control their own destiny enough or are too happy to take a bs fight cuz money is money. I feel like Bud realizes his time in this sport is limited & he wants to maximize his upside & you don't do that taking too many fights that don't matter at age 31 when so many eyes our on you & you can get even more eyes on you if you play your hand right.

Yeah Crawford definitely putting pressure on Arum probably ESPN too I seen bob go at other promoter before but he been taking it to a different level now Bud wants to keep up with Loma and they don't have the names to give him meaningful fights

sheeeit, well it's confirmed he's never gonna fight any PBC fighters. I just don't understand why he re-signed with Arum. That couldn't have been the only option
