Probably not far off with this remark. I've heard people suggest TR contracts have the vaguest details possible written by pro contract creating lawyers in the language of lawyer that fighters aren't apt to understand or there brother in law "adviser" would either.
I do think the MAA has some boundaries on how long a promotional deal can be for initially, but I think there are extensions for certain things that give them more leeway like if the promoter gets you ranked by an ABC belt, you win a belt or unify & sh^t like that.
I think thats where the TR vs Mikey situation went sideways cuz TR said x happened so his contract got extended by y time & Mikey was saying x didn't happen or that x happened sooner than TR was saying it did to end his deal sooner or not extend it in the first place.
