Can Shakur Stevenson clean out 126?

Now we could all agree the kid lacks power so far and doesn't have the style to truly make him a superstar. But looking at the division i think he has a shot clinching and boxing his way to boring decision victories. He has good size and length for the division.

GR jr- small and barley fights might be out of his prime too. He looked gassed early against Diaz although he did a good job boxing the rest of the fight.

Warrington- eh could be good fight idk nothing really stand outs.

LSC- Could be good style to test Stevenson with pressure but he lacks power and had his share of ordinary performances against low level fighters.

Valdez- cant stop getting into wars

Idk man. I think he'll win a title. But idk if he'll be The Champion/#1 in the division.

Could he beat all 4 of those guys at some point? Maybe. Lil guys age out faster so who knows. But I don't think he can legit clean out a division at this point based on what I've seen.

Again maybe he grows into his success doe. Who f#cking knows. Crazy sh^t happens in boxing all the time. I'm just not seeing the greatness written on this kid at this point is all I know like I've seen in others early on vs the caliber of guys Shakur has fought largely this far.

Warrington and Cruz are the 2 most dangerous imo neither have straight ko power but their styles are deadly. I dont see the kid beating them as of rn but in a year i think he has a chance with Valadez and maybe Rusell honestly all 4 126 champs are dangerous for anyone on the come up rn as well as each other.

Doubtful. His options at 126 with Top Rank are Valdez, Frampton, J. Magdaleno, Dogboe and Navarette (if they move up to 126). I think he could beat all of those guys. The only one that he might lose to is Navarette because he’s taller than the rest and tough as hell. You never know what happens if any of those guys land a bomb on him though.

Warrington would blitz the shít out of him if they fought right now. He's not ready to walk down that street yet. But who knows, muhfückas improve and fall off rather quickly in boxing.

ABSOLUTELY! Stevenson will RULE and Unify 126 for sure, I see him boxing CIRCLES around the guys he will have to fight to unify it.

Now realistically he won't get a shot at Gary Russell Jr or Leo Santa Cruz, I think both start to move up if they don't fight each other so they won't be looking to fight a "Young Contender". Momentum has faded for Santa Cruz vs Russell Jr sadly because of Russell Jr inactivity so Leo I think moves up maybe fight at Andrew Cancio or Miguel Berchelt before jumping in with Davis.

After that then Stevenson I think starts to take over. Warrington and Valdez both on ESPN so those fights are very likely and I LOVE his chances vs Both Styles right now Warrington is underrated and will be the toughest to deal with of course

His ERA and rivals will be the other young fighters in that Division like King Tug Tugstsogt Nyambayar, Mark Magsayo who is finally back and Michael Conlan who Top Rank was hyping more when they first turn pro but haven't lived up to that hype and haven't looked all that great.
