Shane should definatly fight Floyd now. This is what Floyd was waiting for while everyone has been ripping him. A fight between those 2 would be huge right now. Im sure Floyd can make 8mil in that fight and get way more fame. This fight is also much harder for Floyd then Margarito so I still dont get why everyone is ripping Floyd for trying to get this fight.

Shane wants to come down to 147 because thats where all the money's at and thats where he says he feels more comfortable but I disagree. These last couple of fights are the best Shane has looked in a long time.

Sure he could go back down to 147 and look even better because he will be better at everything at that weight but you have to be skepitical because last time he went back down to 147 he looked like garbage.

If he fights Floyd right now at 154 then everyone would favor him and then he can move right down to 147. I would take this fight because he might not ever get a bigger fight then this and Floyd might lose to Oscar by time Shane is ready to fight him. If Shane does go down to 147 and look great, then what? No one's going to fight him except for Margarito and there wont be alot of money in that fight. You know that Hatton & Cotto will stay away from him.

This fight is big right now and I would love to see it. Who do you guys think wins at 154 and who do you think wins at 147? I actually do want to see him at 147 so I wont be upset if he doesnt fight Floyd but I would still love to see it. He didnt look good last time but maybe he's just starting to get his skills back and will be a beast down there again. If he is then that division will be super exciting.

Shanes not fighting for the rest of the year. Hes giving himself time to rest and get his body weight down for welter. He basically told Floyd to fight Margarito and wait.

Yeah and overall I think thats the right choice. He should go back down to 147 where all the money is and if his body is right then he can be a monster. Its also smart for him to take the rest of the year off and have a fight or 2 against lesser guys to see how good his body is at 147 before he goes up against someone like Floyd.

The only problem with that is that Floyd is not a true 147 pounder right now and could be vulnerable but in a couple of more fights he will be much more use to the weight and will be very hard to beat by then

What are you talking about? All Floyd has been talking about is fighting Shane but Shane doesnt want it right now. He says he's going back down to 147 and he needs a couple of fights before he fights Floyd

This is how it rolls out people

There are two paths to the match between Pbf and shane. first:

1. baldomir wins you have pbf vs baldomir in nov. This will setup a mosley vs hatton fight in march or april of next year for the wba title.

2. gatti wins you have gatti vacating the title rather than fight the #1 contender who is pbf. This sets up a pbf vs paul williams match since paul would become #1 contender after floyd.

bottomline pbf vs mosley will be explosive and a legendary matchup against to of the best in the division.


mosley will need 1-2 fights to get acclimated to the weight but he better not wait too long.
