Amir Khan is one of those protected young fighters who still wants to fight the 40 yrs old midget, former malnourished Pacman!?

What I saw was a guy that was getting hurt, was injured, befuddled by what was in front of him and having flashbacks of being brutally KO’d against Canelo. He knew if he went out like that again it was career over, so he was gifted an opportunity to get out and he took it.
I heard him say in the corner in round 2 ‘he’s hurting me’ and Hunter asked ‘he’s hurting you?’ and Khan being experienced with coaches and knowing that the towel would go in immediately if he confirmed that he said those words changed his mind and said ‘nah, I’m okay’, he quit from that moment on.
Crawford was getting the better of him and Khan was mostly ineffective, but he wasn’t being absolutely beaten down in there.
Khan may or may not have looked for a way out, and Crawford may have been coming on strong, but in no way did Khan look like he was about to fold without being hit low.
IMO of course.Comment

wasn't intentional, and while it was undoubtedly low it wasn't in his private parts and most of those guys don't stop Crawford. Spence has the best chance and it's still debatable.Last edited by P4Pdunny; 04-23-2019, 04:11 AM.Comment

He was losing the fight, sure, but this narrative that Khan was being beaten from pillar to post ala Pacquiao v De La Hoya is simply untrue. Yet I keep reading it.

Usually I’m one of the soul voices of support for Khan among a wave of hate, but I don’t even think it was entirely physical, I genuinely believe that Canelo KO shook him mentally and he was having PTSD moment against Crawford. Let’s face it, how could it not affect him, he will have seen the replays and be thinking ‘I could have died in there’.Comment

Yeah he definitely did, so glad I didnt buy the PPV. I thought my respect for Khan had already reached rock-bottom, then he tried to claim the fight was turning before the low-blow and suggested Vergil was at fault for stopping the fight.Comment
