    Absolute dominate performance

The fight tonight reminded me of the Mayweather-Gatti fight in that it was an absolutely dominating performance by the better guy, which of course in this case was Mosley. He was quicker, stronger and better than Vargas in every facet of the fight. He looked as good as he has in years.

I have a couple of thoughts in my head in the immediate moments after the fight. One, is Mosley now a top 10 p4p fighter? And two, I really, I mean REALLY want to see a Mayweather-Mosley fight as soon as possible. I really hope it happens this year.

    Good job Shane.

i would want to see floyd fight mosley. its more interesting then it ever was before.

ANd i could see someone putting mosley in the top 10 p4p after beating vargas twice. I wouldnt put him in there, but i would be outraged if someone did

I think Mosley vs Mayweather would be pretty badass. You got Mosley, a guy who was known for his amazing handspeed and quickness, sort of, a rebirth of himself with this performance. What better way to truely show he's back than to face the #1 P4P fighter and hopefully win? Shane would be so badass if he could pull it off though it's easier said than done. Let's say they both have nearly the same handspeed, Floyd has the better defense so I'd say he automatically wins. Will be a great fight though to see.

There's maybe one differnce and I dont know because I didnt see the fight. The differnce is that Floyd beat the normal Gatti but did Shane beat the normal Vargas?

I ask this because some of the writers are saying that Shane looked the best he has in years but they wondered was alot of that due to the fact that Vargas looked like a slow, sluggish, pile of crap.

Ive read about how great Shane looked but Ive also read alot about how bad Vargas looked. Was it some of both, more Shane, or more of Vargas looking like crap?

I'd say some of both. Vargas definately did not look good, but I don't want to take away too much from Shane because he was at the top of his game tonight. Good speed and power, a nice jab and some very nice combinations.
