I really expected Mosley to just come away with a UD. Never expected him to have the kayo power against Vargas. Did he swell up again?

It would be smart for Vargas to give it up now. He has plenty of money, he doesnt seem damaged mentally, and he has a family. However I highly doubt he retires. I see him moving up to middleweight.

I was surprised it ended so early. Not surprised at all that Mosley won, as I picked him. Vargas needs to move up if not retire. And retirement probably isn't very far off.

naw he didn't swell up, he had a cut over his left eye though which the doc checked.

OMG ... man he whooped his ass so quick , i was hoping to god vargas would beat the count and survive the round...

Both of his eyes began to look bad, frankly by round 5 the look vargas had in his corner was one of frustration and it looked like he wanted to give up. One eye had a cut, the other began to swell. it didint matter, he looked bad.

Props to Mosely. Perfect left hook. He fought great and beat a shell of what Fernando Vargas use to be. Vargas has to retire while he is still healthy. Sucks tonight.
