I think he wants that Easter Jr rematch the most.
After the Crawford card his manager tweeted 'Loma sooner than you think', which implies Loma as soon as Loma's hand is better, which estimated Sept.

I think Commey is dreaming of what happens after he beats Loma - a man can dream.

His manager all but confirmed Loma for Sept, so a soft voluntary in June is reasonable. I think they signalled a very clear NO that the voluntary would be Teo, which was probably part of Teo's post fight funk (along with the weight and camp problems)
Oh that's the case? I was thinking he wants to be A side to Loma

Commey is returning from injury and he needs to test his hand in a voluntary fight before he engages Loma or Easter Jr.

This is the second time I've seen Commey bring up Easter Jr. When the fight was announced he said he was looking forward to that fight and wouldn't mind fighting the winner.

I think he thinks he has a better chance to beat Easter Jr or Rances than he does Lomachenko. Then he can come into the Lomachenko fight with 2 belts. A better bargaining position. Especially by lifting that belt from PBC & bringing it over to Top Rank

Possible, but not sure how much value Loma would put on the IBO strap Rances and Easter are scrapping over (and the secondary WBA belt means nothing given Loma already has the primary one). Winner Rances/Easter also becomes mandatory for Loma, so they would come in with the IBO strap too (presumably), so Loma likely gets to fight for it however it plays out.

I'm also under the impression (possibly incorrectly) that Loma is the big ticket fight for Commey, and another Easter fight (or Rances fight) wouldn't be a guaranteed win for Commey, so he'd be risking his big payday to get dubious leverage for later Loma negotiations.

If the IBF made Teo mandatory, Commey could indeed have a way out by saying Easter/Rances a unification before a Loma unification (so avoiding his mandatory), but thats high risk poker. As with the WBC situation, interesting to see how it plays out - just hope its all by the end of this year.

This guy has sounded like a straight up ducker ever since he won the Chaniev fight. I'm doubting more and more that his injury was even real the more he talks. Talking about unifying with a regular WBA titlist? That's not a unification. That's the type of ducker talk, trying to trick the fans, that is usually reserved for Al Haymon boxers. Is Commey advised by Haymon?

Can you win a "regular" belt when holding one of the other belts? Didn't think that was a thing. Don't guys usually have to vacate that belt to fight for others? **** the WBA for even making this a conversation. Dirty mf'ers

The man just won his belt.

Let him get his share of gimme fights ( like MOST of the belt holders today) before being engaged in 50-50 fights.

Let the man take care of another Isa Chaniev ...err mandatory.

He has been robbed enough already!!

Now there isn't any reason not to make Lopez-Lomachenko. Let's do this!

Comney likely wants the Easter rematch because everyone except Rob Easter thought that Comney won the first fight.

I know if I was him, I’d want to avenge that BS loss
