As previously reported by BoxingScene.com, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum - who promotes WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford - lashed out at Al Haymon - the head of Premier Boxing Champions. Arum claims that Haymon is doing everything possible to prevent a unification between Crawford and IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence.

          Re

Crawford cant continue with this level of opposition, and be taken seriously as #1 pound-for-pound. He's gotta get ONE of those guys in the ring.

When Arum had Pacquiao as the hot hand, do you remember that he made fighters like Mosley and Marquez leave Golden Boy in order to fight Manny - which they did - because he refused to work with GB.

Now the shoe is on the other foot.

Arum wants 50-50 and a full co-promotion. When Spence has the advantage, he doesn't have to agree to anything. I don't see Fox Sports and ESPN getting together to do a PPV like this. It's not even close to being a crossover fight. Neither guy is a superstar. It won't do a million buys, maybe not even 800K.

So you agree on sabotaging one of the best fights because of tribalism?
Errol Spence is one of my favorite fighters, (and I hope he kicks Crawford @ss) but to me this all points out to the culprit and for the most part I think is the PBC side.

You don't see but do you know for a fact they wont do it? Does ESPN constantly pushing the fight on their network seem like they don't want to do it. What you mean Pump is PBC doesn't want to do it which makes them no different than Arum Pac era and yet they seem to be immune to criticism for it from so called boxing fans who should only want one thing.

One has to wonder how Arum ever let Manny Pacquiao get away without feeding him to Crawford first. He promoted him for ages and then refuses to pay him? Truly a colossal misstep. They better hope they can get Brook next cause Kavaliauskas looked like dog sh**t in his last fight.
