He took a beating from GGG and struggled to make weight for the Spence fight. But Spence gets a ton of praise for that win.

He took MUCH more punishment vs Spence....He would have taken a big beating from GGG but his corner stepped in before it got too bad. And in the first four rounds that fight was very competitive but Brook was holding his own. The 5th round was the first round where Brook was starting to take a beating and his corner didn't waste time stepping in.

Against Spence, he went 11 rounds and from the 6th or 7th round he took a lot of punishment and hasn't fought at WW since. He said he simply couldn't make weight anymore and went to 154. So what has happened in those two years that he went from no longer being able to make WW to all of a sudden being to make weight comfortably?

Because that win over Porter was a long time ago and Brook was looking much better then. Today's Brook has been crushed by GGG and Spence and looked terrible winning his last fight over a nobody.
