Madison Square Garden, New York City - Teofimo Lopez (13-0, 11 KOs) did what nobody else has come close to doing, knocking out former two-time European champion Edis Tatli (31-3, 10 KOs) with a right hand to the body in the fifth round to defend his NABF lightweight belt.

This Kid deserves it. But who will give him this opportunity? Teofimo he's too dangerous for a simple voluntary title defense... Lopez he's the next big star for sure

I think Commey's committed to Loma. Commey's manager just said 'fighting Loma sooner than you think', which suggests the previous plan for a warm-up in July is scrapped, and Loma on for Sept. Commey also expressed a preference for Loma when asked if he had a preference (Teo or Loma), which no surprise given that's a bigger money fight for him.

So that leaves whatever happens with the WBC to be decided, and hopefully Mikey vacates soon and we get to see how that shapes up.

Loma the weight bully is too focused on 130 to give Lopez a chance. He'd rather fight Tank for free than ask Bob to make the easy in-house fight

I think he and his dad are looking for microphones/cameras and offering interviews - so as nobody says no, we end up with an avalanche of Teo stories. Darn good self-promotion in my book - its working.

What it sounds like is the training camp issue he wasnt going to admit to is he was struggling with weight his entire training camp and that was the reason he kept calling out Lom, to get a title fight and move up asap. If he had admitted that last night in the post fight interview when he mentioned training camp issues, he probably felt the boxing public would have berated him for not just moving up already. If he moves up, there are a lot of great fights. More than at 135. You have Prograis who is brash and powerful, slick Josh Taylor, Vergil Ortiz, Baranchyk, Jose Ramirez, Hooker, Matias, Barboza, Mario Barrios, Orozco, Zepeda, Yigit.

It's definitely working but annoying af when prospect is getting more exposure than challengers/champions.

Weight Bully your aware Loma is really a featherweight but has no competition at 126 or 130 he just wants to shut the mouth of Davis don’t worry Lopez will get his shot

Loma will give Lopez the same chance like how Floyd gave a GGG a chance... Stank Davis is trash by the way..
