Haha, you beat me to the post! I too think a Crawford- Spence fight is at least 18 months away, quite possibly longer. It's a business, and why should PBC set that fight up until they're ready? Crawford chose his side of the street and now has to live with his decision. You really think that if Arum still had Pacquiao, plus Porter, Garcia, and Thurman, that he would send Crawford over to Haymon so that Spence could fight him?!

Yep. You're right about Floyd. People were giving Floyd **** for the bruseles fight not understanding why he was doing it. Specifically Larry merchant's negative ass lol.If that’s the fight Crawford truly wants. He needs to vacate his belt and do whatever he needs to do to become Spence’s mandatory. I don’t even know what belt Spence holds off the top of my head. Hell I don’t know what belt Crawford holds either. But usually when you become the mandatory, if both sides can’t work out a deal, it goes to a purse bid. I remember Floyd doing that when he moved up to 140 to force Gatti to fight him. Because Gatti and McGirt wanted no part of a Floyd fight, and for good reason. I believe the “Chop Chop” Corley and Bruselus fights were eliminators that made Floyd Gatti’s mandatory.Comment

Also, nobody on the PBC side is fighting Crawford until all the belts on the PBC are unified unless Haymon wants to sacrifice one of them to hopefully bring the wbo back to the PBC side (Danny or Ugas).Comment

Why, because you said it?
There's no guarantee Crawford stops Mikey.
Spence applies more pressure than Crawford and has a better body attack. Unless, you think Crawford had more concussive power which is yet to be determined. When Crawford KO the same opponents as Spence or vice versa let's just say it's a wash.
Mikey would go the distance with Crawford. Probably do better.Comment
