The actual fight itself was not good for boxing, screw how it unfolded.

Dude, Atlas is a former fighter and has been in boxing for decades, so not only does he understand but he knows when a fighter is looking for a way out. Khan already said earlier in the week if he gets knocked out his career is over, and he knew what was coming. What he doesn't realize in that moment by acting like a coward he ended his career anyways. I don't know if you laymons realize but the cup is designed to take impact, and if a boxer acts like he just got shot like Khan....then yes he's bull****tin

Usually so outspoken Teddy , why not now
Hahaha exactly this! Crawford messed up with the low blow to the leg as Khan was always gonna milk it. I'm surprised Khan didn't get taken away on a stretcher

The risk of weird sh^t or a non-conclusive ending in a fight is always a risk. Not much you can do about it. Could happen to ESPN, DAZN, Showtime or Fox or any other channel showing boxing or to any boxer.

Atlas just speaking to hear himself I think with this remark.

How good woulda Bud vs Collazo had been for boxing?

Granted it wouldn't have been a PPV if that was the case, but this W gives Bud more value in the market cuz people know Khan for better or worse which is good for the long game of Bud's career trajectory.

This was ultimately the best reasonable move for Bud, TR & ESPN to make at this point in time. Hell it was even the best move for Khan too probably.
