It's possible to be a fan of Lopez, and not be insane.

Some people are buying into ****** stuff, talking about Loma, and destroying their credibility at the same time.

But that isn't every Lopez fan. Some are normal, rational human beings. Some are happy to see him continue on - make some noise, get bigger and better fights, and maybe make it to the top. If he can get a title in the next couple of fights, and get in the ring with Loma afterwards, then good on him.

Don't be too quick to write off all Lopez fans as being idiots. Sure a lot of them are saying ****** things lately, and a lot of them are showing that they aren't even boxing fans at all, but that isn't all of them. Just a noisy, irrelevant chunk of them.

Beating fighters not even close to being in the mix doesn’t qualify you to fight champions of divisions, these imbeciles have lost their fkn minds

Unfortunately that's not how boxing works. He has a ton of money invested in him, they're not going to just throw it away because he's running his mouth.

If Teo feels he's ready and if his team feels he's ready, get him in there with a ~top20 guy first in the summer. If he does well, put him with a world class caliber fighter in the fall, hopefully with a belt on the line. Then winter / next spring he can get Lomachenko.

In the meantime, Loma needs to fight Mikey in the fall or winter.

Unfortunately what doesn't work that way? You keep thinking Lomachenko is going to destroy him and in result ruin him. How do you know that will happen? I could easily say a loss, even a convincing one could end up helping Lopez in the long run.

But TR isn't throwing in Lopez with Lomachenko until he passes his test against his step up fight, possibly against Commey. The timeline you laid out is ideal but the issue with that is Lopez doesn't feel he can make 135 for much longer. I think he can be convinced to take it early 2020, but spring/winter of 2020 is pushing it.

Yes, that's what I believe, he would beat the likes of Commey/Pedraza/Campbell. Also have said he needs to get in there and actually do it. I don't care what kind of rated fighters he has beaten. I mean who did Tank beat before he beat Pedraza? Who did Floyd beat before he beat Hernandez? Who did Lomachenko beat before he beat GRJ? The list goes on and on.
