UK produces valiant boxers overall, but except for the Heavyweight division, where the talent pool is very limited, they struggle to produce elite boxers. I can't recall the last time a Brit was the best fighter of his division. Most british fans on this forum are insufferable though lol.
Should British boxers be banned from the prize ring?

Lewis is British you donkey.
No one. I repeat, no one overrates their fighters like you do with Mexicans. Rey Vargas and Monguia were hyped big by you but both have never fought a good world class fighter yet. But guess what? Both have lost to bums. And both got the robbery win. Just like that fraud drug cheat Canelo has most of his career.
You also said that joke Zurdo is better than Calzaghe even though the overated Zurdo has fought nothing but bums his whole career. Calzaghe would f3ck him up bad and win every f3cking round by giving him a beating. You also said Lewis was a bum.
You're insane. Just like the freaks on here. GTFOH.Comment

The Wlad win was very good. Wlad looked great that night. He looked better than he had done in years even though he lost. What could Wlad not do in the AJ fight that he could do earlier?
AJ had only had 19 fights when he took on the vastly more experienced Wladimir. Of course it was tough. You don't beat fighters like that easily after so few fights.
Just stop talking your nonsense.Comment

No, we don't always lose the big fights. Unless they're complete bums to start off with or are shot.

I see you answering all the post of this thread like a fu.ckinh girl
And mexican boxing is way better than u.k boxing, period.
USA boxing and Mexican Boxing are the #1 and #2, actually and historically.

No, he wasn't. He was just a prospect. A good one, but nothing more. And he was unknown in the UK as well. He wasn't one of the known guys in any way.
Not only that, but Selby wasn't having the best days in boxing at this point. He even thought about retiring before the fight because things weren't going so well.Comment

It is a product of the British boxing pipeline.
British boxers get built up until they can get a British title, and then a European title, then fight for a world title. It's a really well-established path. British promoters are excellent at building up their fighters, finding Hungarian fighters for them to look good against, but most flounder when they reach world level -- as is natural.
Because there's so much interest within the UK there is always hype around and demand for young British fighters, and there is always a new guy to feed to the world champs -- the Brit gets a shot he probably never should have gotten, get's a good payday, gets KOed, and goes back to taking domestic level fights.
More undue title shots, more mismatches, more KOs.Comment

You did read it you complete dribbler. You always do. You got told. Now get back to hyping up complete nobodies and making excuses for them when they lose to bums because you and Mexican boxing is corrupt. Canelo being the worst in the whole of boxing. But don't worry, the ones that matter see through that joke.Comment

Saunders had the ability to be the best at Middle, but he's f3cked that up now. Josh Taylor could end up being the best at 140. He's in the tournament to prove it so look out for him. Warrington has the best resume at featherweight and should be seen as the best there too.
We produce Per capita more world champs and world class fighters than the US does. So I have no idea where you're going with that nonsense.Comment

Start a petition. The whole world knows that the home of the quitter is America, its just Americans are too nationalistic to see what the rest of the world sees. Infact its got so bad we cant even get these American fighters in tough fights, one of them even turned down over 100 million, lol.
Obviously this is an Amir Khan inspired thread but Crawford didnt want Khan he wants Spence and Spence has run to the hills just like alot of American fighters seem to be doing at the moment. There is quitting and then there is not even daring to fight. God bless America and its spineless ducking fighters.
When the UK has a fighter as pathetic a quitter as Andre Dirrell i will be ashamed.Comment

Erm, Smith is the best at Supermiddle, and Edwards is the best in his weight class as well after beating the number one in Rosales.

The UK produces a lot of average to good fighters, very rarely elite ones. There is really nothing to be ashamed of.Comment
