I think Khan is a very much an underdog in this one. But Gamboa’s fast hands did give Crawford trouble for a couple rounds. And in retrospect, that fight was a blown up featherweight fighting a guy that was at least a natural 140 pounder that shrunk down to lightweight. Tonight Bud will be dealing with a fast guy that’s his size, maybe even a little bigger. Crawford fought well against Gamboa. But the biggest thing in that fight was that Gamboa couldn’t deal with Crawford’s power. Khan’s reputation of having a shaky beard is well deserved. But Khan’s been in with much bigger punchers than Crawford and survived. So I’m curious to see what happens if Khan’s speed is giving Crawford issues, and Bud can’t change the tide with a single punch.
