Indeed! Every fighter should know by now that if you get in bed with Don King the expectation should be that you are going to get screwed over and badly. I mean just ask Mike Tyson, Felix Trinidad and whole host of other fighters who have felt this reality.

Now I know Imam is a young guy but the onus is one him to do his due diligence before signing on with any promoter. A cursory amount of research would have shown him that Don King is a snake and he does not have his fighter's best interest at heart.

I will never understand why fighters are still signing with DK in 2019....with so many promotional outfits out there, with Matchroom, top rank, main events, and the PBC umbrella showing guys how to be their own promoters etc etc....oh well, a horse to water and all that....

43% management fee? Wow that's a big chunk. I often wondered how much the manager took down from the fighter. I figured it was more in the range of 10%-20% similar to what the trainer would get.
