Comments Thread For: Crawford's Coach: Even Hunter is Not Confident in Khan Winning

TERENCE CRAWFORD'S trainer believes the undefeated WBO welterweight champion is ready for Amir Khan's speed after utilising the resources of the US Air Force Academy. Crawford, who defends his title against Khan at New York's Madison Square Garden on Saturday, is widely considered one of the two finest fighters in the world alongside Ukraine's Vasyl Lomachenko.

Two mistakes by this coach. 1 thinkin that khan has no power. 20kos out of 33wins. He's obviously not a huge puncher but he has enough to put Crawford down if gamboa can wobble him like that. And 2 is thinking Khan is going to be thinking "please don't let the world see me get knocked out again" Khan obviously doesn't care at this point he's been made to look silly numerous times wobbling around the ring or getting sparked unconscious and he's never fought like it's in the back of his mind, he's a true warrior really in that regard. Hopefully they underestimate Khan and he can pull off the upset.lol...

Khan should be defensive and wait to counter attack. Let Crawford be reckless by proving he is the best boxer in the planet. Maybe Khan can caught Bud with good combinations every round to convince two judges in his favor!?!

I hope khan stinks out the joint, protects his chin and makes crawford look like dog****. I wont be watching this crap anyway, im not giving crawford any of my money for his mismatches against shot opponents and bums.

I agree with Bomac on the way Virgil Hunter has been talking about the fight, that's the exact same thing I thought. He really showed no confidence in Khan whatsoever and from the way Amir looked at the weigh in, I don't think he's in his best shape nor that they had a good camp.

I don't like the matchmaking on Crawford's part though just like Lomachenko too, these guys are blatantly wasting their prime years and it's sad to watch. So I'm still rooting for the underdog in this one.

It doesn't matter who feels what. What matters is how Khan feels. If Khan goes in the way he did against Alexander and protects his chin then he will cause problems. Also Khan hits quiet hard and Crawford needs to be on top of his game. Generally Crawford is a professional but this will be a fight where he really needs to fight for the full fight. He will win but it's not the walk in the park that most people think.

Crawford is going to feel naked in the first few rounds

They are going to find out Khan's glass chin is a myth when he fights on this kind of stage, his speed is ridiculous and his power is pretty damn decent

Crawford is going to have to ditch the composed boxer and become a bad man like Errol Spence tonight.

I'd laugh if Crawford gets exposed tonight and dominated by Khan

Khan is by far the best fighter he's ever fought and has the style to trouble him, I don't know why people are sleeping on him
